The Fifteenth Western China International Fair Is Held in Chengtu

    The fifteenth western china international fair is held in Chengtu, Sichuan from 23^rd October 2014 to 3^rd November 2014. This is the first time to divide into two period of exhibition. The first period is from 23^rd to 26^th October and the second period is from 30^th October to 3^rd November. With 240 thousand square meters exhibition area, this fair has display area of western cooperation, international cooperation, high-end equipment manufacturing, electronic information, emergency rescue industry and agriculture, international and domestic boutique, spinning, clothing and so on.

    Western china international fair has commenced in West Development. Approved by the State Council, this fair is cohosted by commerce department, 16 state ministries and 12 provinces (region, city) in westward and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, and it has been successively held 14 sessions. After 14 years development, western china international fair has became service platform for important investment promotion, trade cooperation and diplomacy in the west of china.

    The 14th western china international fair held in 2013 has total exhibition area of 180 thousand square meters. More than 4000 enterprises from 72 countries and regions, 28 provinces (region, city) in china and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps took part in the exhibition. The exhibitor number and area of enterprises abroad respectively accounted for 43% and 40.2%. It realized 107.83 billion Yuan trading amount among which the overseas volume of trade was 6.15 billion dollars (which is equivalent to 38.14 billion Yuan) accounting for 34.4%. The signed investment project is 462 and the investment signing amount is 563.18 billion Yuan. Among them there are 25 foreign funded projects and 5.92 billion dollars (which is equivalent to 36.71 billion Yuan) investment volume. 56 investment promoting activities were held, and international activities took up about 50% which involved investment, trade, finance, education, culture, agriculture, travel and so on, more than 10 fields. More than 19300 professional buyers from 69 countries and regions took part in the 6^th western china international sourcing fair held during the period of western china international fair.
